Summer Fitness Goals
This summer is the summer to put in the training! As fightrope athletes you can really get in your best shape with our OG rope in your hands. Here are some Goals for the summer that will have you in killer shape this winter.
Skip rope for five, five minute rounds or 5x 5 minute rounds. If your skip is broken readjust and keep going or if you still need to build rhythm try without the rope for the same length of time. Doing this even a few times in a week will start to transform your muscles and help with breathing, heart rate, and overall energy.
Next exercise that will boost your summer body is the burpee. Integrating just 5 burpees between skipping sessions with keep your heart rate in the fat burning zone and keep your body confused in the best possible way. This full body movement with your skipping will allow your body to perform under consistent pressure.
Lastly, integrate into your workout routine with alternating squat lunges for just five minutes after your last skipping session. This is a tried and true routine that is going to keep you in competition form and ready to battle.
