Workout of the Week: 20-Minute Jump Rope HIIT
This Sunday, we challenge you to our 20-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) jump rope workout. It’s designed to get your heart rate up and torch calories, all while having fun.
Warm-Up (3 minutes)
- 1 minute: Easy jump rope
- 1 minute: High knees
- 1 minute: Jump rope with side-to-side swings
Workout (15 minutes)
- 1 minute: Fast jump rope
- 30 seconds: Rest
- 1 minute: Double unders (if you’re new to these, try single unders or alternate foot jumps)
- 30 seconds: Rest
- 1 minute: High knees with jump rope
- 30 seconds: Rest
- Repeat 3 times
Cool Down (2 minutes)
- 1 minute: Slow jump rope
- 1 minute: Gentle stretching focusing on your calves, quads, and shoulders
